We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to optimize and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in production. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing systems, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
Responsibilities:
Documentation and Reporting
Create and maintain detailed documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Provide regular reports on production performance and improvement metrics (e.g. First Pass Yield, or Nonconforming Material).
Project Management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
Quality Assurance
Monitor and improve process quality by implementing quality control procedures.
Identify root causes of production defects and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with quality teams to maintain compliance with industry and company standards.
Process Design and Optimization
Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Design layouts for equipment, workflows, and workstations to enhance production capacity and reduce waste.
Analyze production data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Train production teams on process improvements and best practices.
New Product Introduction (NPI)
Collaborate with design and R&D teams to transition new products into production.
Support release of documentation to manufacturing for NPI
Develop manufacturing plans, processes, and tools for new products.
Tooling and Equipment
Specify and procure new tools, equipment, and technology to improve manufacturing processes.
Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of production equipment.
Develop preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent required and minimum
5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering or a related role.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
Experience with MES, and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, such as machining, sheet metal, injection molding, or assembly.
Experience with data analysis and supporting tools (e.g. Excel, or MATLAB)
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
Excellent communication and teamwork skills needed for both in person and remote interactions
Ability to manage multiple projects and associated tasks
Regulatory compliance (ISO 13485) experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least July 24, 2026 or until the job is no longer posted.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $103,200.00 - $161,250.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
