Job Summary:
Order Managers play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by serving as a communication hub between Sales and Manufacturing. Order Managers direct all sales requests through production and ensure that sales orders are fulfilled accurately for on time delivery.
Responsibilities Include:
- Initiate production jobs and monitor the production process to ensure the timely delivery of products
- Review sales order requests for accuracy
- Confirm documents are issued in accordance with customer requirements, relaying quality documents as needed to meet customer needs
- Effectively communicate with Production Departments and Sales staff regarding deliveries, inventory, production delays, and expedited orders
- Properly maintain appropriate finished goods min/max levels
- Oversee the daily movement and storage of inventory
- Provide accurate year-end inventory counts
- Identify and report quality problems or trends as appropriate
- Exhibit commitment to continuous quality improvement
- Communicate in a clear, effective and professional manner
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and customer-centric culture
Required Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications:
- Prior experience accurately processing high volumes of paperwork
- Ability to proficiently utilize computers for communication and logging data
- Ability to work well under pressure with time constraints to meet strict deadlines
- Self-directed, detail oriented and independent worker
Preferred Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with an MRP/ERP
- Prior inventory management experience
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Range $21.63/hour - $28.84/hour
