This role is a rare opportunity to step into a high‑impact executive IT leadership position at a mid size, values‑driven company. The Conpany is seeking an IT leader who has experience with high growth consumer goods businesses owning strategy, execution, and organizational leadership across all technology domains.

Job Summary:

The Vice President of Information Technology is a strategic member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) responsible for aligning technology strategy with business objectives. This role leads the organization’s IT function while acting as a trusted business partner to executive leadership, ensuring technology investments drive operational excellence, innovation and measurable business value. As a member of the senior leadership team, the VP IT will speak the language of the business, bring technology insights proactively, help leaders understand risk and opportunity, and ensure technology investments drive ROI. The VP of IT will translate business strategy into technology strategy and vice versa, ensuring technology becomes a competitive advantage rather than just an operational function.

This role is responsible for the enterprise technology strategy, execution, and leadership across Cabot Hosiery Mills, Inc (DTV, C&S, WO). This role owns ERP, application development, data & analytics, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and end‑user services, and ensures technology enables scalable manufacturing, supply chain excellence, and customer growth.

This role requires a hands‑on, business‑oriented IT executive with deep ERP and manufacturing systems expertise, strong people leadership, and the ability to align technology with operational and strategic objectives. The VP of IT leads four major functional groups, each with an experienced manager reporting into this role:

    • ERP Group
    • Development Group
    • Data & Analytics Group
    • Infrastructure, Cybersecurity & End‑User Services Group (including Helpdesk)

    This role starts at $210,000-$260,000 annually, based on experience.

      Key Responsibilities:

      ERP & Enterprise Systems (Critical Requirement)

      • Executive ownership of Infor M3 ERP, including:
        • Manufacturing
        • Finance (AP, AR, GL)
        • Purchasing
        • Sales & Allocation
        • Logistics & Supply Chain
      • Lead ERP configuration, enhancement strategy, governance, and vendor relationships
      • Ensure ERP supports scalable manufacturing and growing order volumes
      • Drive continuous improvement of ERP processes and data integrity
      • Partner closely with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales leadership
      • SAP experience acceptable where depth of ERP leadership is demonstrated

      Infrastructure & Operations

      • Oversee a primarily cloud‑based infrastructure, including:
        • Infor M3 hosted as a multi‑tenant SaaS platform in AWS
      • Manage targeted on‑premise systems:
        • SANs
        • Microsoft servers supporting manufacturing data collection and reporting
      • Ensure availability, security, disaster recovery, and operational resilience
      • Own end‑user computing, support, and helpdesk services

      Cybersecurity & Risk Management

      • Develop and maintain enterprise cybersecurity strategy and governance.
      • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
      • Manage risks related to data protection, privacy, and business continuity both domestic and international (GDPR compliance).

      Data, Analytics & BI

      • Own enterprise data and analytics strategy and governance.
      • Lead and evolve the analytics platform:
        • Snowflake (data warehouse)
        • dbt (data transformation)
        • Power BI (dashboards, KPIs, and reporting)
      • Partner with business leaders to define and operationalize KPIs
      • Enable data‑driven decision‑making across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and sales

      Application Development & Integrations

      • Own all application development across:
        • ERP extensions
        • Manufacturing systems
        • eCommerce platforms
      • Executive ownership of system integrations, including:
        • ERP ↔ Manufacturing systems
        • ERP ↔ Shopify
        • ERP ↔ Logistics, EDI, and B2B platforms
      • Oversee EDI and B2B solutions supporting wholesale and partner channels
      • Ensure scalable, well‑architected integration patterns and governance

      eCommerce Technology

      • Own technology supporting Shopify‑based eCommerce
      • Ensure seamless integration between eCommerce, ERP, inventory, fulfillment, and analytics
      • Partner with Marketing and Sales to support growth and customer experience

      Leadership, Strategy & Governance

      • Serve as a strategic member of the Senior Leadership Team contributing to corporate strategy and organizational priorities.
      • Develop and execute a technology strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
      • Identify opportunities where technology can accelerate revenue, improve customer experience and increase operational efficiency.
      • Collaborate with leaders across the business to translate business needs into technology solutions.
      • Ensure IT initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes and ROI.
      • Act as a consultative partner to departments on technology-enabled innovation and process improvement.
      • Lead, mentor, and develop managers and teams across all IT disciplines
      • Develop talent, leadership capabilities and modern technology skills
      • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability and service excellence
      • Establish IT governance, prioritization, and execution frameworks
      • Own IT budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning prioritizing initiatives based on business value and strategic impact.
      • Manage vendors, partners, and system integrators
      • Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across all systems

      Required Qualifications:

      • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience
      • Significant ERP leadership experience required
        • Infor M3 strongly preferred
        • SAP acceptable with comparable depth
      • Proven experience supporting manufacturing operations
      • Experience leading multi‑discipline IT organizations (ERP, Dev, Data, Infrastructure)
      • Strong understanding of cloud‑based enterprise systems
      • Experience with system integrations, APIs, EDI, and B2B solutions
      • Executive‑level communication and stakeholder management skills
      • Background in apparel, textile, and/or non durable consumer manufacturing
      • Experience in multi‑site manufacturing environments
      • Experience scaling systems during periods of rapid growth
      • Familiarity with:
        • AWS‑hosted SaaS ERP platforms
        • Shopify
