About the role

Part-time: Hourly

Schedule: +/- 20 hours a week

Compensation: Equity/Stock Options, Commission

Fully Remote, 50% travel across different stores doing outreach and sales

Role Description:

Ondine is looking for a sales representative who is responsible for generating revenue by identifying, engaging, and converting prospective customers. This role involves building and maintaining client relationships, understanding customer needs, presenting products or services effectively, and closing sales. Strong communication skills, persistence, and a results-driven mindset are key to success in this position.

Key Activities:

  • Go to brick and mortar stores that match the Ondine brand (boutique shop, a resort, spa, the sky’s the limit)

  • Find partnership opportunities for private label orders with corporate partners (a custom scent for a spa, company scent for holiday gift, etc.)

  • Manage accounts through follow-up calls, emails, and general client engagement

  • Learn and experience the industry of fragrance and organic products

Requirements:

  • Has strong communication skills and a storyteller

  • Self-driven and able to work independently

  • Experience in sales, account management, and/or business development

  • Understands and embraces the ONDINE profile: small batch, owner-designed and blended, organic and wildcrafted materials, a NA trademarked Vermont brand

  • Embraces the mission of organic perfume as a part of a culture shift in the cosmetic and body care market: that clients/customers care about what they consume and apply to their bodies; that self care and self expression pre-empt appealing to others = community not competition; that wellness can partner with beauty

  • Being able to perform phone, online, and face-to-face sales, with emphasize on in person connection as it is the most effective and gives a personal approach

  • Willingness to learn about the product and what truly makes it organic and natural
