Position Title: Digital Content Associate - VCET Venture Platform
Start Date: ~ September 15th
Compensation: $17/hour
This part-time, at-will, hourly position does not include any other benefits (such as healthcare, disability, retirement, vacation/sick/personal days, etc)
Schedule: +/- 15 hours/week, flexible but set schedule plus Fridays and after-hours events
Timeframe: ~ Remainder of Calendar 2025 and 2026, dependent upon performance.

Reports to: Nicole Eaton, Director of Venture Platform
Job Description:
VCET is looking for an associate to run its digital content and help with podcast production. They are looking to produce more video content for their startup platform, coworking space, and portfolio of companies. VCET also produces a top 25th percentile podcast that needs production assistance, from editing the podcast before publishing to making reels to promote the episodes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fully immerse yourself in the VCET brand to understand what we do and why we do it. This is essential to telling an authentic VCET story in all situations and across all
platforms, whether in person or online.
- Proactively produce visual and written content for VCET’s social media and marketing
channels under the supervision of our team
- Assist with podcast production from podcast set-up to post-production editing and promoting
- Get to know each and every VCET member to help build an ecosystem of engagement,
positivity, inclusion, and mutual success
Requirements:
- Passion for video production and podcasts
- Experience using video editing software (InShot, Capcut, Adobe Premiere)
- Experience with production software (Garageband, Adobe Audition, Acast)
- Comfortable making short-form videos that are trendy and high-level
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to independently think of ideas and follow through with them
- Familiar with marketing analytics and statistics that will increase traffic over social media and podcast channels
Recommended but not required:
- Experience in videography
- Familiar with setting up and using podcasting equipment
- Experience running a social media account
- Has worked in video production
- Passionate about the startup/entrepreneurial ecosystem
