Job Description:

Vermont Construction Company is seeking a Marketing Intern for the summer of 2026. We are a fast-growing Construction Company based out of Colchester, VT, looking for an energetic, motivated individual pursuing a Business or Marketing degree. As a Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in planning and executing over 20 events, creating content for social media channels, and assisting Vermont Construction’s Marketing Manager with day-to-day tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Event Support: Assist in planning and executing events and promotional campaigns that engage and excite.
• Setup and Coordination: Organize event booths, displays, and materials, ensuring smooth and efficient event operations.
• Customer Engagement: Interact with customers to create a positive and memorable brand experience, leaving lasting impressions.
• Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement innovative marketing strategies. We love new ideas!
• Brand Representation: Represent the Vermont Construction brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity.
• Projects: Visit Jobsites throughout Vermont, capturing compelling content to be used in marketing material.
• CRM: Update company database and customer relationship management systems
• Social Media: Create organic campaigns that drive real results and report on said campaigns.
• Schedule: 20-30 hours weekly. Must work select weekends.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Google Suite (Preferred)
• Positive attitude (Required)
• Ability to interact with the public positively (Required)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds (Required)
• Adobe Suite (Preferred)
• Technical Video and Photo Knowledge (Preferred)
• Done Piloting (Preferred)
• Experience creating content for social media (Preferred)
