Position Overview
Vermont Construction Company is looking for a dependable Driver / Material Logistics Technician to support our roofing crews by transporting materials, equipment, and debris between job sites, suppliers, and our yard. This position plays a key role in keeping projects running efficiently by ensuring crews have the materials they need when they need them.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks while pulling dump trailers and equipment trailers
• Transport roofing materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
• Load and unload roofing materials such as shingles, plywood, underlayment, and accessories
• Move materials around job sites and staging areas to support roofing crews
• Dump debris trailers at approved disposal facilities when needed
• Assist with organizing and maintaining the yard and material inventory
• Ensure trucks, trailers, and equipment are kept clean and in good working condition
• Follow all safety procedures while driving, loading, and unloading materials
• Communicate with office staff and crew leaders regarding deliveries and material needs

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to regularly lift and carry materials weighing 50+ pounds
• Ability to perform physically demanding work including loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the day
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required with a clean driving record
• Experience driving trucks and pulling trailers preferred
• Ability to safely back and maneuver trailers in tight spaces
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work hard in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Construction or roofing experience is a plus but not required

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
