We’re looking for a Senior Wholesale Marketing Lead who will bring that same passion to our wholesale marketing strategy, building meaningful partnerships, driving sell-through, and delivering unforgettable brand experiences across our key accounts. As the Senior Wholesale Marketing Lead, you will own the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across Burton’s wholesale channel. You’ll partner with major retail accounts, digital marketplaces, and internal cross-functional teams to elevate our brand presence, optimize marketing investments, and deliver impactful consumer engagement that drives business growth. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution, with a deep understanding of omni-channel retail, wholesale marketing, and the evolving digital landscape.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Strategy & Planning
- Lead the creation of seasonal and annual wholesale marketing plans, aligning with Burton’s global brand strategy and regional business objectives.
- Translate brand initiatives into account-specific marketing programs to drive awareness, traffic, and sell-through across key retail partners and marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Dick’s Sporting Goods).
- Identify and capitalize on emerging trends, retail media opportunities, and consumer insights to refine wholesale marketing approaches.
- Account Marketing & Activation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners’ marketing teams to co-create compelling, consumer-first campaigns.
- Oversee the planning and execution of omni-channel activations including digital retail media, paid media, social, in-store experiences, and experiential events.
- Ensure marketing strategies support sell-through and reinforce Burton’s premium positioning at retail.
- Budget & Performance Management
- Manage wholesale marketing budgets and trade terms to maximize ROI, efficiency, and marketing impact.
- Develop reporting frameworks to track key performance indicators (KPIs), including campaign effectiveness, share of voice (SOV), and retail sell-through.
- Continuously analyze consumer data, market trends, and account performance to optimize strategies and investments.
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner closely with Sales, Merchandising, Brand, and Creative teams to ensure cohesive go-to-market execution.
- Lead cross-functional planning meetings to align seasonal priorities and timelines.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Experience: 8–10 years in wholesale, retail, or omni-channel marketing, with a proven track record of driving sell-through and account growth.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of wholesale marketing, retail media networks, and digital/paid media strategies.
- Leadership: Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence internal teams and external partners.
- Strategic & Analytical: Ability to translate consumer insights and data into actionable marketing strategies.
- Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leaders and external partners.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience).

Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include any potential bonus and other benefits that we offer. This is an on-site role, based in Burlington, VT. We will offer relocation assistance to move to Vermont to any candidate who is hired.
