This position is compensated at the Level B rate on the Midd student wage scale: $14.43 - $14.86 per hour.

Museum Associates attend weekly training sessions where they study and practice a variety of styles of museum education through object-based learning. Special emphasis is placed on peer-to-peer activities, but faculty members, museum professionals, and other experts may periodically visit these sessions to offer additional context. In addition, students gain useful skills and knowledge in areas that may include research, creative thinking, community building, public speaking, and public programming. Through their insights and work contributions, Museum Associates are invaluable partners on the journey to making the Middlebury College Museum of Art more accessible and welcoming to all audiences.

During these time periods only, students can work up to 40 hours per week. International Students: Visa restrictions prohibit international students from exceeding 20 hours of work per academic calendar week.
